Bio

Seulement is the solo project of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal-based electronic musician and audiovisual artist Mathieu Arsenault. His work questions the imperfections of the human body in a world of technological perfection. More particularly, he is interested in the integration and transformation of the human voice and gesture in digital arts. His solo practice now extends to audiovisual performances, albums and experimental films. His work has been presented at numerous festivals including MUTEK Montréal (CA), MUTEK MX (MX), MUTEK AR (AR), Lunchmeat Festival (CZ), Videocittà (IT), CODEC sessions (PE), Modular M+ Festival (HN), Wavelength (CA), Sound/Image (UK), SXSW (US), International Film Festival Rotterdam (NL), Ann Arbor Film Festival (US), Festival International des Films sur l'Art (CA), Iceland Airwaves (IS) and Suoni Per Il Popolo (CA).
